The Netflix series Outer Banks Season Three captures the sun-kissed beaches of the Outer Banks area in North Carolina. In continuation of the first two seasons that started in 2020, the third season follows the journey of a group of teenagers who are out on an adventure-filled treasure hunt.

Getting To Know The Outer Banks Cast And CharactersÂ
Before you learn anything about each character, you must understand the prevent social setting in which the series is set. People in the Outer Banks are divided into social classes, the Kooks (rich) and the Porgues ( working class).
Chase Stokes As John B RoutledgeÂ
John B Routledge is the protagonist in the series. He is the ringleader of his group and is on a mission to find the treasure that his father was pursuing. It is presumed ( in the earlier seasons) that senior John B ( the father) is dead. So the teenagers are on a mission to locate the treasure that eventually led to John B senior’s death.
John B Routledge is played by Chase Stokes. Stokes is an American actor who has made recurrent appearances in popular shows like Stranger Things and Tell Me Your Secrets. He has also made an appearance in the satirical comedy show Daytime Divas.
Madelyn Cline As Sarah Cameron
Sarah Cameron is the rebel princess, the daughter of the rich and evil Kook Ward Cameron. Yet she is more than happy to join John B Routledge and live the life of the Porgues. Sarah eventually plays the love interest and the girlfriend of John Routledge.
Madelyn Cline, playing Sarah, started her career with television commercials but has appeared in Boy Erased and The Originals. Just like her onscreen partner Chase Stokes, she has also been a part of the popular show Stranger Things.Â
Jonathan Daviss As Pope Heywood
Pope Heywood is probably the smartest and the most rational kid in the group. He is smart and can make it big if he moves out of the Outer Banks region. However, he has proved time and again that he loves his friends more than an opportunity to make it big outside the Outer Banks. In season three, you will see an unlikely association between Pope and Cleo, bringing out a wild streak in him.
Jonathan Daviss plays Pope Heywood. Jonathan Daviss is a young actor who has been seen in quite a few movies before he made an appearance in Outer Banks. You may have seen him in Deliverance Creek, Edge Of The World, Shattered Memories, etc.
Carlacia Grant As Cleo
Cleo makes an appearance in the second season onwards. She is not a part of the original Porgues group of teenagers. However, she has been quickly accepted into the group when she goes out of her way to help the Porgues kids. Cleo is a carefree character, she is streetsmart, and she has quickly become the audience’s favorite in the third season.
Carlacia Grant, who plays Cleo, is a beauty pageant winner. She has also starred in the play Treasure Island.
Charles Halford As Big John Routledge
Big John Routledge is John Routledge’s Father. He was presumed to be killed by Ward Cameron. However, he was alive and was in Barbados. He was more of a friend to his son and, all this while (till season three), was looking for an opportunity to reunite with him. When he returns in the third season, the treasure hunt begins.
Charles Halford plays Big John Routledge. Charles Halford is an American actor who is well known for playing the role of Chas Chandler in Constantine and Earl in Logan Lucky.
Charles Esten As Ward Cameron
Ward Cameron is a Kook who is Sarah’s father. He is an evil man who pretends to be a devoted father but his attempt to strangle his daughter reveals his true character. Ward Cameron is rich and cares more about protecting his assets than anything else.
Charles Esten plays Ward Cameron, a popular American actor, and musician. He has appeared in popular shows like The Mentalist and The Office and also has made an appearance on Star Trek.
Drew Starkey As Rafe Cameron
Rafe is Sarah’s brother and Ward’s son. He is definitely not as evil as his father but is also not willing to live the life of the Porgues like his sister. Drew Starkey, appearing as Rafe, is an American actor who has appeared in American Animals and Just Mercy.
The ensemble cast of teenagers in Outer Banks creates quite a lovely, energetic, well-knit group that is lovely to watch. If you have been a lover of teenage adventure thrillers, Outer Banks by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke is worth watching.
