Minecraft 1.20.10 Patch Notes for Nintendo Switch

Minecraft, the popular sandbox game from Microsoft and Mojang, has rolled out a new update for Nintendo Switch users.

Following the exciting Trails & Tales update in June, which introduced camels, a new biome, and more, the latest update brings a host of new features and fixes.

Sneaking and Crawling Enhancements

One of the key features in the 1.20.10 update is the introduction of short sneaking. Now, players can sneak under 1.5 block gaps, and sneaking will automatically be initiated when stuck in a gap of less than 1.8 blocks.

The update also introduces crawling, allowing players to crawl when in a 1 block gap, similar to sneaking.

Recipe Unlocking and Other Changes

The update also introduces recipe unlocking, a feature that allows players to unlock relevant recipes by collecting materials. A notification will inform players when they’ve found a new crafting material. Additionally, the update brings changes to items, blocks, and mobs, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

The 1.20.10 update addresses over 50 community-reported issues, providing various fixes related to graphics, accessibility, and more. It also improves the Xbox on-screen keyboard experience, adds a toggle for extra-large GUI scaling, and enhances the handling of simultaneous mouse clicks.
