The only option is to send skins and emotes as gifts. You can buy any skin or emote that you want to gift to a friend. Then navigate to the Gift option, specify the Fornite account or the recipient, and then select the items to send as gifts.
Your friend can either use your gifts or leverage the Refund tokens to convert your gifts to V Bucks. But remember you have limited tokes to spare.
Note: The sender account holder needs to be your Fortnite friend for at least 3 days before you can gift them skins/ emotes or battles pass.
Beware of V Bucks Scams
So far we have listed all legit sources for earning V Bucks in Fortnite. You can earn V Bucks for free, but you need to devote a considerable amount of time to amass substantial V Bucks.
The easier but rather expensive way is to purchase V Bucks right away from their store.
But you’ll notice we haven’t mentioned any free V Bucks codes or techniques to earn V Bucks from third-party sites. That’s because they are mostly scams!

You will find many websites like the one displayed above that promises free V Bucks on registration. All you need to do is sign-up or link your Fortnite credentials.
However, these are not a legit or secure way of earning free V Bucks. Most of these sites are not secure and are created as bait for phishing attacks.
You should also avoid scavenging for free v bucks codes or installing any third-party application on your system that claims to reward you with V Bucks.
