EV training and hunting down Pokemon with strong IVs are necessities in Pokemon Radical Red if you want to beat the game, but sometimes it’s necessary to speed things up a little bit. One way to do this, of course, is with the all mighty cheat code!
Don’t worry, there’s no judgment here! You’ve come for Pokemon Radical Red cheats, and I’ve got just what you need.
After all, this is one of the hardest Pokemon Rom hacks to date and we don’t all have time to IV hunt and EV train our entire party.
How to Add Cheats to Pokemon Radical Red
First of all, let’s go over how to actually add these cheats. Whether you’re running your Rom on mGBA or Visual Boy Advance, the process will be very similar.
You’ll need to locate where to add cheats (most of the time under the tools options), paste them in, and voila!
(For mGBA)
- Click on Tools > Cheats
- Paste Cheat in “Enter Code Here”
- Click “Add”
- Exit Cheat Window and Enjoy!
(For VBA)
- Click on Tools > Cheats > List Cheats
- Click on the Green “Add New Cheats” Button
- Paste in Cheats and click okay
- Exit the window and enjoy!

Whether you want to venture beyond the developer walls and discover all of their secrets, or just skip annoying blockades, this is the cheat for you.

Just as the title says, this code allows for infinite money! If you somehow run out, just enter it again and you’ll be right back at 999,999

Infinite Master Balls, Rare Candies, and Full Restores
This one takes some effort. After you’ve put in the code of the item you want, head to the nearest Pokecenter PC and withdraw an item from your Box (Not Somebody’s)

- Withdraw as many as you want!
You will have to use these codes one at a time if you want infinite of each.

Ever wanted to swipe Brock’s Vulpix? Now you can!
This code requires that you press L+B after you open your bag, otherwise, the trainer will swat your ball away like usual.

More Cheats
Remember, this is a Pokemon Fire Red Rom Hack, which means many codes that work with Pokemon Fire Red will work on this Rom.
However, I recommend creating a save state in your emulator before trying ANY code, because some may crash your game.
To create a Save State, simply click File > Save State > and select the slot you want to save in. You’ll load this state up the exact same way if something were to happen to your game.
