Everybody who got in on the first beta test gets invited back for the second, and there will be a lot more people trying it out this time around. Whether you’re diving into Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta for the first time or the hundredth, we’ve got a brief and informative walkthrough to get you up to speed and have the best fun possible.
Basic information about the beta
Servers for the SF6 beta are now live from December 16 at 12 a.m. PST and remain operational until December 19 at the same time. During this period, players on PlayStation 5, Xbox One X/S, and PC will be able to compete against each other thanks to cross-play. Despite being a closed beta, we really received a lot of December game releases.
The PlayStation 4 version of Street Fighter 6 will launch in June, but the beta is exclusive to current-gen platforms and PC. PC players may avoid waiting till the beta is online by downloading the 13.35 GB patch now.
In this iteration, the “Input Delay Reduction” functionality is being rolled out. Now, users can enjoy Street Fighter 6 at a smooth 120 fps. You won’t be able to play at more than 60 frames per second, but the input latency will be much lower.
The same eight playable characters from the original Closed Beta are available here as well: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Juri, Luke, Jamie, and Kimberly.

In-game setting tips from Capcom
The majority of the action, like earlier, will take place in virtual spaces. There is no local Versus Mode, but players may get together with friends who are also in the beta by entering the same room and having their avatars seat down at the same arcade cabinet.
It’s true that Capcom hasn’t done much to rebalance the game’s eight playable characters since the last beta, but the company has made some notable improvements.
