Valberry in Genshin Impact is just one of many Local Specialities in the game necessary for ascending characters. But they can be pretty tough to find if you don’t know where to look.
So that’s why today, we’re giving you the rundown on this rare Local Speciality so you don’t have to wander aimlessly looking for it.
We’ll check out the Valberry spawn areas, and locations to farm Valberries, and show you where to find vendors selling Vallberries.
We’ll be using the official Teyvat Interactive Map from miHoYo to show you the exact locations and routes when farming Valberries.
First, let’s establish the region and areas you can typically find Valberries.
Where to find Valberries in Genshin Impact
Valberry is a Local Speciality in Mondstadt and can only be found in Stormbearer Mountains & Stormbearer Point. Valberries come bunched with 4 Valberries per plant, so it’s relatively generous.
However, as Valberries are limited to these two areas they’re pretty rare so you should collect them whenever you see them.
Now, we’ll show you the exact locations of Valberry spawn points so you can get to hunting.
Genshin Impact Valberry Locations
In total, there are 19 Valberry Spawn Points. It isn’t as plentiful as other Local Specialities like Cor Lapis or Philanemo Mushrooms so keep that in mind.
Below are all 19 Spawn Points and a suggested route to take that should make it easier to farm.
With this route, you can teleport to the Statue of the Seven in Starfell Lake and proceed West. This makes it easier to climb up to Stormbearer Mountains while getting each Valberry on the way.
If you’ve already activated one of the 3 Teleport Waypoints in the area, you can use them to make it easier to traverse the mountains.
How Long Does Valberry Take to Respawn?
Similar to other Local Specialities in the game, once you pick the Valberry fruit, you won’t immediately have access to a new batch. Genshin Impact follows a schedule and resets the world according to the schedule.
For Local Specialities, once you pick the material, you’ll have to wait 48 hours or 2 days for the plant to respawn in the same location.
With only 19 spawn points available and 4 fruits per plant, that’s a maximum of 76 Valberries every 2 days. To max out an Ascencion Lvl. for one character will take 168 Valberries which is a hefty sum.
Plan your farming trips accordingly if you want to quicken the Ascension process.
But if you’re missing just a couple more Valberries, there’s another option to try – Chloris.
Who Sells Valberry in Genshin Impact?
In case you’re missing that last Valberry for a Character Ascencion and have picked every other Valberry available, fret not.
There’s a vendor, Chloris, who’s found in Mondstadt and has a few Valberries in stock.
You can find Chloris on the road leading to the Thousand Winds Temple. Check out the highlighted area above for her possible location and route.
However, she only has 5 Valberries to buy at once. Her stock will refresh after 3 days from the day of purchase. Stock is limited but if you needed just one or two more Valberries, it’s an easy way to get them urgently.
How to Literally Farm Valberry
There is another way to get Valberries and other types of Local Specialities easily, thanks to the 2.0 update which added Gardening in Genshin Impact. But it’s not immediately accessible and you’ll need to reach certain points in the game.
The first thing you have to do is unlock the Serenitea Pot. You can get the pot once you’ve leveled up to Adventure Rank 28 and finished Archon Quest Chapter I Act III.
After you’ve completed these two requirements a new Quest will be available, A Teapot to Call Home, which rewards the Serenitea Pot and allows players to create their own ‘realms’ or homes and decorate them as they please.
There’s a lot you can do in the Realm Within including furnishing, decorating, inviting characters you own to live in the Realm, and a Teapot Traveling Salesman, Tubby, who sells some useful things for your home.
You can also buy plots of land for Gardening, under the Riches of the Realm section in the Realm Depot. This is the area where you will plant seeds and harvest them in your Realm.
There are specific plots for specific plants so make sure to read the descriptions before buying one. For Valberries, you’ll need the “A Path of Value: Jade Field” plot to grow the plant.
After purchasing this plot, you can buy some Valberry Seed from the Creatures of the Realm section and start planting.
Crops grown in this way will take 2 days and 22 hours to fully grow and harvest.
If you’d rather not purchase the seeds though, there is another method to get seeds. But you’ll need to first reach Inazuma in the game before you can harvest seeds manually.
Once you reach Inazuma, you have to reach a Level 3 Inazuma Reputation, upon which you’ll automatically unlock The Art of Horticulture Quest. Completing the Quest awards you the Seed Dispensary that can be used to collect Seeds.
To start collecting seeds, you just need to equip the Seed Dispensary and gather plants as usual. When you pick up a plant, you will receive a Seed as well which you can plant in the Serenitea Pot.
With this, it’s much easier to farm Valberries and seeds all at once. The Seed Dispensary can hold up to 20 seeds of each plant, after which you can’t collect new seeds until you’ve used them.
And with that, we’ve reached the end of our guide and hopefully, you won’t run into a Valberry shortage anytime soon.
